Every year, CLK staff and volunteers take part in training sessions that promote high quality service and support for our families and participants.

In addition to training specific to their roles, staff and volunteers participate in courses that help us learn more about;

  • effective program delivery and client support
  • mental health first aid
  • crisis intervention and behaviour de-escalation techniques
  • cybersecurity and the protection of client information
  • anti-racism and unconscious bias
  • allyship with BIPOC and 2SLGBTQQIA+ populations
